Kenneth Paul Baker

Kenneth Paul Baker, age 77, of Hurdland, MO, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home in Hurdland.

Kenneth was born June 7, 1944, the son of Paul Powell and Grace Lee McKenzie Baker. He was united in marriage to Linda Sharon Rash on March 15, 1968 in Kirksville, MO.

Surviving is his wife Linda Baker of Hurdland, MO, two sons, Curtiss (Sherry) Baker of Kirksville, MO, and Scott (Linnette) Baker of Macon, MO, one sister Bonnie (Dick) Beckett of Ashland, MO, four grandchildren, Morgan (Jesse) Baker, Trent Baker, Luke Baker and Gracie Baker, one great grandson Jackson Baker one sister-in-law Ann Sue Baker of Kirksville, MO, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert (Dee) Rouse and Charles Wayne Baker and one sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Richard) Parton

Kenneth graduated from Hurdland High School. He served in the United States Army reserves.

Kenneth resided all his life in the Hurdland community. He was employed at Hollister’s in Kirksville for 32 years, retiring in 1999. He loved horses and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge.

Kenneth will be cremated and no services will be held. Burial will be held at a later date in the Hurdland I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
