Marilyn Lou (Glidewell) Peoples, 71 years old, of Ozark, Missouri, formerly of Milan, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Ozark Nursing and Care Center.
Marilyn was born July 3, 1949 in Corydon, Iowa to Allen and Virginia (Neff) Glidewell. On February 14, 1986, she married Vince Peoples, he preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by: Her parents; sisters, Peggy Barton and Norma Jean King; a brother, Wesley Glidewell; a niece, Connie McCabe; and her God Parents, Mom and Dad Flores.
Marilyn was survived by: one twin sister, Carolyn Hobbs and husband Bill of Higginsville, Missouri; a brother, Doug Glidewell and wife Bonnie of St. Joe, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn’s family moved to Milan during her early childhood. She graduated from Milan C-II High School in 1968. After graduating, she moved to Kansas City where she worked at Farmland for many years and was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Higginsville, Missouri since 1998. Marilyn enjoyed going camping, motorcycles, and playing softball.
A graveside service for Marilyn will be held Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Shatto Cemetery, West of Milan. Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan is handling services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the ASPCA in memory of Marilyn Peoples.
