The Kirksville Lady Tigers played well in the first quarter, but Fulton dominated the rest of the way and the Hornets went on to beat the Lady Tigers 40-29 Friday at Tiger Gym. Fulton outscored KHS 12-2 in the second quarter and that proved difficult to overcome. Jersey Herbst led Kirksville with 10 points, Fulton’s Audrey Arnold led all scorers with 15. KHS slips to 7-13 on the year and 2-6 in the conference. Next, a home game vs. Monroe City Monday. That will be a JV/Varsity girls doubleheader, coverage of the varsity game around 7:05 on KIRX and the page.
