The Kirksville Tigers beat Moberly 65-60 Tuesday night in another fierce battle. KHS opened a 22-10 lead at the end of the first quarter, but got ice cold in the second quarter, getting outscored 17-4, and Moberly led by one at the half 27-26. KHS came out strong after the break. Justin McKim got physical with 12 third quarter points, and Gavin Pike popped in 15 second half points as he got aggressive as well. Kirksville was already in the double bonus early in the fourth, and Pike sealed the game by connecting on 3 out of five at the stripe down the stretch. Pike finished with 17 points, Cole Kelly led the Tigers with 18, McKim finished with 15. The Tigers get to 12-7 on the year, 5-2 in the NCMC.
