Lady Tigers Fall At Moberly

The Kirksville Lady Tigers played a nice game but lost against a very talented Moberly squad 54-34. Moberly has their two veteran seniors, Grace Billington and Asa Fanning, both headed to the college ranks on scholarships. Contrast that with the Lady Tigers, dominated by underclassmen, and they held their own in the first half, only trailing by seven at the break. Chloe Carter exploded for 10 second half points on her way to 16 for the game. She made four contested baskets during that stretch. Jersey Herbst contributed nine points. Billington led all scorers with 24, Fanning with 20. KHS dips to 7-12 on the year, 2-5 in the NCMC. They’ll return home to take on Fulton Friday.
