NHL Scores Wednesday 4-27

NHL SCOREBOARD…
WINNIPEG 4 – Philadelphia 0… Eric Comrie stopped all 35 shots in his first NHL shutout and the Jets breezed past the Flyers. Kyle Connor scored an empty-net goal and had two assists.

Montreal 4 – N.Y. RANGERS 3…  Jeff Petry scored his second goal of the game with 31 seconds remaining to lift the Canadiens over the Rangers for their first win after nine straight losses. Ryan Poehling and Mike Hoffman also scored for Montreal.

CHICAGO 4 – Vegas 3 (SO)… Tyler Johnson scored the lone goal in a seven-round shootout to send the Blackhawks past the Golden Knights and eliminate Vegas from the playoff race. Taylor Raddysh scored twice in regulation for Chicago.  Goalie Kevin Lankinen made 37 stops.

Arizona 4 – DALLAS 3 (OT)… The Coyotes came from three goals down in the third period to upend the Stars just after Dallas clinched the Western Conference’s final playoff spot with Vegas’ loss to Chicago. Travis Boyd found the net 1:43 into overtime. Anton Stralman, Shayne Gostisbehere and Barrett Hayton scored third-period goals.

Los Angeles 5 – SEATTLE 3…  Lias Andersson netted a tie-breaking goal early in the third period and the Kings went on to top the Kraken. Goalie Jonathan Quick made 36 saves.
