Sharon (Klinginsmith) Rouse, 78, passed away at the North Kansas City Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri, on Monday, July 19, 2021.
Sharon Ann (Klinginsmith) Rouse was born in Powersville, Missouri, on December 29, 1942, the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille (Sanders) Klinginsmith, who preceded her in death. She attended grade school at Gravel Ridge and high school in Unionville. Sharon married Richard Rouse at the Methodist Church in Unionville and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1977. Sharon retired as a pharmacy technician in Kansas City, Missouri. She moved to Cameron, Missouri, in August 2015, to be closer to family. Sharon had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include one brother, Wayne (Dixie) Klinginsmith of Chillicothe, Missouri; two nephews, Ken Klinginsmith of Ludlow, Missouri, and Ron (Michell) Klinginsmith of Kearney, Missouri; one niece, Anissa (Bud) Johnson of Cameron, Missouri; one great nephew, Justin Klinginsmith, one great niece, Kelly (Paul) Lewis, one great-great nephew, Paul Lewis, III; one great-great niece, Kori Klinginsmith; an aunt, Fern Valentine; several cousins; longtime friend Reta Klinginsmith; her beloved cat, Pepper; and many more friends.
Graveside services for Sharon will be at the Lucerne (Missouri) Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Memorials are suggested to, and checks should be made to the Lucerne Cemetery and may be entrusted with Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th, Unionville, Missouri, 63565.
