Lady Tigers Drop Semifinal Game At Highland Tournament

The Kirksville Lady Tigers were victimized by 16 turnovers and lost to Scotland Co. 47-39 in the semifinals of the Highland Tournament Wednesday. KHS led 30-29 late in the 3rd, but Scotland went on a 6-0 run and led by five at the end of the period. Erica Treasure popped in a couple of big 3 pointers in the fourth to keep them in the game. She was also 2 for 2 from the free throw line on a night in which KHS went 3 for 4 from the stripe. Channing Totta led Kirksville with 12 points, all on 4 three pointers, Treasure finished with 10. Scotland Co. was led by 14 points from Alayna Whitacre and Hannah Feeney. Kirksville drops to 1-4 on the and will play in the 3rd place game Friday, time and location to be determined.
