KHS Tigers Run Rampant Over Macon

The Kirksville Tigers continued their early season dominance and crushed Macon 73-29 Tuesday at Tiger Gym. KHS led 24-1 at the end of the first period and didn’t allow a basket until five minutes to play in the second. As usual, the Tigers best quarter was the third, outscoring Macon 23-10 and cruised through a continuous clock fourth quarter. For the first time this season Cole Kelly got red hot by pouring down six 3-pointers on his way to 26 points. Justin McKim also had 26 and four 3’s. McKim is showing that he can score from anywhere on the floor. Full court pressure all night forced 23 Macon turnovers. KHS climbs to 3-0 and will be part two of our doubleheader at Clark County Tuesday, coverage starts at 5:45.
