NATIONAL LEAGUE
Colorado 4 – PITTSBURGH 3… The Rockies came from three runs down to top the Pirates in the rubber game of the series. Alan Trejo singled home a tying run to cap a three-run top of the fourth inning and Jurickson Profar added a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh.

L.A. Dodgers 8 – MILWAUKEE 1… Freddie Freeman hit a solo homer and stroked a two-run single as the Dodgers ripped the Brewers. Miguel Vargas homered with a runner aboard and Will Smith added a solo shot for L.A. Clayton Kershaw (6-2) allowed a run on five hits over seven innings.

Miami 5 – ARIZONA 4… Joey Wendle doubled home Bryan De La Cruz with a tie-breaking run in the top of the ninth inning and the Marlins hung on to edge the Diamondbacks. Jesús Sánchez opened the scoring with a three-run homer in the fourth.

Washington 11 – SAN FRANCISCO 6… The Nationals mounted four-run rallies in the tops of the third and fourth innings on their way past the Giants. Riley Adams belted a three-run homer to cap a four-run top of the second inning. Joey Meneses added a solo homer and Vargas tripled home two runs for Washington. Josiah Gray (3-5) gave up two runs on five hits over seven innings.

N.Y. Mets 2 – CINCINNATI 1… Justin Verlander (1-1) limited the Reds to a run on two hits over seven innings and the Mets scratched out the win. Pete Alonso homered in the top of the seventh inning and Brandon Nimmo singled home the decisive run in the fourth.

CHI. CUBS 10 – St. Louis 4…The Cubs rolled past the Cardinals after spotting them an early two-run lead. Patrick Wisdom slugged a go-ahead two-run homer in the bottom of the third inning and Yan Gomes added a two-run shot in the fourth.
Dansby Swanson stroked a two-run double. Christopher Morel drove in two runs with a double and a single.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
N.Y. YANKEES 11 – Oakland 3… Anthony Volpe unloaded a grand slam to cap a seven-run bottom of the fourth inning and the Yankees pounded the Athletics. Harrison Bader’s three-run homer capped a four-run first.

Detroit 5 – CLEVELAND 0… Eduardo Rodriguez (4-2) pitched four-hit ball over seven innings and two Tigers relievers completed the shutout of the Guardians. Andy Ibanez had a couple of hits, including an RBI double in the top of the first inning.

Texas 4 – SEATTLE 3… Marcus Semien smacked a leadoff to spark a three-run top of the third inning and singled home the decisive run in the seventh to push the Rangers past the Mariners. Dane Dunning (3-0) allowed two runs on six hits over six innings.

Houston 5 – L.A. ANGELS 4… Jeremy Peña’s two-run single capped a four-run top of the fourth inning that carried the Astros past the Angels. Yordan Alvarez hit a solo homer in the first. Cristian Javier (3-1) gave up two runs on three hits and struck out 11 in six innings.

BALTIMORE 2 – Tampa Bay 1… Austin Hayes singled home a run as the Orioles scored both runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and held off the Rays. Dean Kremer (4-0) limited Tampa Bay to four hits over six innings.

KANSAS CITY 9 – Chi. White Sox 1… Nick Prato singled home a run and hit a two-run homer to lead the Royals in their thrashing of the White Sox. Michael Massey singled home a run and hit a solo homer. Brad Keller (3-3) allowed a run on three hits over five innings.

INTERLEAGUE
PHILADELPHIA 2 – Toronto 1 (10 innings)… A throwing error by Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette allowed Edmundo Sosa to score the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Phillies escaped with the victory. J.T. Realmuto doubled home Bryce Harper with a tying run in the ninth.

Boston 5 – ATLANTA 2… Raimel Tapia doubled home a tie-breaking run in the top of the seventh inning and Triston Casas added a two-run homer in the ninth as the Red Sox put away the Braves. Brayan Bello gave up two runs on six hits over six innings. Reliever Kenley Jansen worked the ninth and became just the seventh pitcher in major league history to earn 400 saves.

MINNESOTA 4 – San Diego 3 (11 innings)… Alex Kirillof singled home Max Kepler with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Twins outlasted the Padres. Kepler homered with the bases empty in the first. Both teams scored single runs in the 10th.
