Thomas George Ford Jr., 76, of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, with his wife of 57 years, Janet (Helms) Ford by his side.
Also surviving are two children, Rebecca Weldon and her husband Chuck Weldon of Gallatin, Missouri and Mike Ford and his wife Maribel Ford of Milan, Missouri; five grandchildren, Hunter Ford and wife Jessica, Hannah Lea Sherrow, Larry Fadler, Kasey Ford and wife Lindsey, and Kaylee Ford. He was recently blessed with a great grandchild, Hunter Thomas Ford Jr. nicknamed “JR”.
Junior was born in Reger on September 28th, 1946 to Thomas George and Rebecca Lorene Ford, who preceded him in death. On September 9th, 1966, he was united in marriage to Janet Lea Helms. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War.
Junior lived his life with the ideal of treating others the way he would like to be treated. His love for his family, friends, and young people he coached along the way will never be forgotten.
Funeral services for Junior will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at the Schrock Cemetery, South of Milan. A visitation is scheduled on Tuesday evening, February 28, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
