Tigers Cruise Past Spartans

The Kirksville Tigers fell behind early 6-2 at Moberly Friday, but went on a 16-0 run on their way to a 72-47 win over the Spartans. KHS outscored Moberly 14-4 in the 3rd, which is traditionally the Tigers strongest quarter. Isaac Danielson led all scorers with 26 points, Keaton Anderson was next with 11. KHS only turned the ball over 5 times, while taking it away from Moberly 11 times. The Tigers get to 3-1 on the year, 1-0 in the NCMC. Next, it’s another conference road tilt at Mexico as part of a varsity doubleheader on KIRX.
