Bulldogs Lose Big In Maryville

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Truman State Men’s basketball was defeated by No. 1 Northwest Missouri State 92-47.

The Bulldogs had a solid first half shooting, going 11-25 from the field and 4-8 from three. That was not enough as the Bearcats went into the break up with a with a 45-28 lead, up 17 points. Northwest shot 15-19 in the first half of play.

The second half was tough for Truman, as they had a hard time getting the ball in the net. The Bulldogs shot 7-24 from the field and 3-11 from behind the arc.

Elijah Hazekamp and Hunter Strait were the only two Bulldogs with double-digit points. Hazekamp had 11 and Strait put up 10.

Truman plays next at Emporia State on Tuesday, November 22, at 6 p.m.
