Clara Dee (Jones) Daniels, 91, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at The Pines in Kirksville, Missouri.
Born July 27, 1930 in Pure Air, Missouri, Clara was the daughter of the late Grover Wilson and Ruth Marie (Daniels) Jones. On September 21, 1946 in Troy, Kansas, Clara was united in marriage to Donald E. “Pinky” Daniels who preceded her in death on January 24, 2012. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Kayle Elmore; one brother, Darrel Jones; and two sisters, Ramah Stanek, and Louise Burres.
Clara is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Kathy Daniels of Novinger, MO, and David and Barbara Jo Daniels of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dixie and Barry Biaotto and Kathy and Mike Bradley all of Kirksville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Sharon Jones of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Laura Casey of Kirksville, MO; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Clara was a life long resident of Novinger and received her education at Golden Rule and Novinger R-I Schools. She enjoyed working in her flowers, cooking, music, dancing, and was an immaculate house keeper. Clara was a devoted wife of sixty-five years, proud mother and grandmother, who never missed a birthday and cherished having her family home every Christmas before entering The Pines.
Clara was a devoted member of the Novinger Baptist Church.
Public visitation will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 after 4:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Novinger Cemetery in Novinger, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Thad Daniels, Dustin Daniels, Derek Daniels, Brody Mathes, Ryan Bradley, Christopher Bradley and Tyler Daniels.
Memorial donations in memory of Clara may be made to Novinger Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
