CHICAGO 20 – Cincinnati 17… The Bears rode their defense to a win over the Bengals after losing starting quarterback Andy Dalton late in the second quarter to a knee injury. Chicago’s defense forced straight turnovers in the fourth quarter, including an interception that Roquan Smith returned 53 yards for a touchdown.
CLEVELAND 31 – Houston 21… Baker Mayfield shook off an injury to throw for a touchdown and run for another in leading the Browns past the Texans. Nick Chubb ripped off a 26-yard scoring run.
L.A. Rams 27 – INDIANAPOLIS 24… Matt Gay booted a tie-breaking 38-yard field goal with 2:23 remaining and the Rams held on to top the Colts. Matthew Stafford found Cooper Kupp with a pair of touchdown passes. Kupp finished with nine receptions for 163 yards.
Buffalo 35 – MIAMI 0… Josh Allen threw for a pair of touchdowns and Zach Moss ran for two scores a the Bills (1-1) clobbered the Dolphins (). Devin Singletary rushed for 82 yards and another TD.
New England 25 – N.Y. JETS 6… The Patriots intercepted Zach Wilson four times on their way to beating the Jets for the 11th straight time. Damien Harris and James White ran or touchdowns.
San Francisco 17 – PHILADELPHIA 11… Jimmy Garoppolo threw 11 yards to Jauan Jennings or a touchdown and ran 1 yard for a score in the 49ers’ win over the Eagles. Nick Bossa led a stingy defense with two sacks.
Las Vegas 26 – PITTSBURGH 17… Derek Carr threw a pair of second-half touchdown passes and the Raiders handled the Steelers. Henry Ruggs hauled in a 61-yard scoring strike midway through the fourth quarter.
CAROLINA 26 – New Orleans 7… Sam Darnold threw touchdown passes to Brandon Zylstra and DJ Moore and finished with 305 passing yards yards as the Panthers crushed the Saints. Christian McCaffrey racked up 137 yards from scrimmage and ran 11 yards for a score.
Denver 23 – JACKSONVILLE 13… Teddy Bridgewater completed 26 of 34 throws for 328 yards and connected with Tim Patrick and Noah Fant with touchdown passes as the Broncos dealt the Jaguars their 17th consecutive loss. Courtland Sutton finished with nine catches for 159 yards.
ARIZONA 34 – Minnesota 33… The Cardinals escaped with a win over the Vikings when Minnesota kicker Greg Joseph missed a 37-yard field goal in the final seconds. Kyler Murray threw for 400 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown.
TAMPA BAY 48 – Atlanta 25… The Buccaneers rolled past the Falcons for their 10th straight win. Tom Brady threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski caught a pair of TD passes for the third straight game.
Dallas 20 – L.A. CHARGERS 17… Greg Zuerlein’s 56-yard field goal as time expired lifted the Cowboys over the Chargers. Troy Pollard ran for 109 yards on 13 carries for the third 100-yard game of his career. Dak Prescott completed 23 of 27 passes for 237 yards
Tennesee 33 – SEATTLE 30… The Titans overcame a 14-point deficit to outlast the Seahawks. Randy Bullock kicked a game-winning 36-yard field goal midway through overtime. Derrick Henry ran for 182 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns.
BALTIMORE 36 – Kansas City 35… Lamar Jackson threw 52 yards to Marquise Brown for a third-quarter touchdown and ran for two fourth-quarter scores in leading the Ravens past the Chiefs. Both late scores were set up by turnovers. Baltimore’s Odafe Oweh forced and recovered a fumble that produced the go-ahead score. Jackson’s ninth career 100-yard rushing game tied him with Michael Vick for most by a quarterback.
