Earl Junior Shaw

Earl Junior Shaw, 96 years old, of Green City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at his home.

Earl was born March 13, 1925, in Milan to Earl and Wineva Mae (Spencer) Shaw. On March 8, 1952, he married Dorothy Carolyn (McMillian) Shaw, she preceded him in death March 11, 2005.

Earl is survived by a daughter, Gaye Roe of Kearney, Missouri; a son, Richard Shaw of Green City; a stepson, Jack Outlaw of Independence, Missouri; 3 granddaughters; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: His parents; His Wife; two sons, Robin E. Shaw and Donald Lee Shaw; and two brothers, Jack Shaw, and Jay Shaw.

Earl grew up in rural Milan. He enlisted in the United States Army and served during WWII in Italy. After he came home, he worked for Rudy Patrick Seed Company, and later worked in construction, laying water lines, and installing fire hydrants. He also worked in demolition. Earl enjoyed gardening and loved to go hunting and fishing.

Earl was cremated and a memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Green City with Military Rites. A visitation will be held an hour before the service, starting at 1:00 PM. A private inurnment will later be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Southeast of Milan.
