Michael Rayburn Lantz, 73, of Browning, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his home.
Michael was born on January 22, 1948, to Maurice and Marion (Schrock) Lantz in Browning, Missouri. On June 6, 1970 he married Linda Wright in Trenton, Missouri and she preceded him in death on March 16, 2019, also preceding Michael are his parents, a son James Lantz, brother Ronald (Carol) Lantz and a sister, Julia Heiden.
Michael is survived by one son, John (Julie) Lantz of Green City, Missouri, grandchildren October Lantz, Devon Lantz and Dallas Lantz, one sister, Maurita (Jim) Rissler of Cole Camp, Missouri, step grandchildren, Amy (Billy) Ebarb and Chad Hill, step great-grandchildren, Taylor Musselman, Lexas Ebarb and Makenzie Hill, and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Browning where he farmed. He also worked at Trenton Foods for 28 years. He enjoyed working on things around the farm and would help anyone in need. Michael loved to travel and visit with people and never knew a stranger. Michael enjoyed working in his garden. He was a member of the Browning Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Schoene Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri, with burial to follow at Hoover Cemetery in Browning, Missouri. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
