In 1959, he was united in marriage to Linda (Johnson) Page. They would have been married 62 years on May 14th of this year.

Richard could fix anything. He was most proud of their home he built. He did it all. Sewer lines, electrical, plumbing and everything. He passed his love of horses onto his daughter. His son his work ethic and good heart. He was known around town for his Stetsons and boots.

He was an active member of the community. He was a Green City board alternate, mayor, member of Green City Chamber of Commerce, board member of North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission and delivered Meals On Wheels. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Green City.
