Pinson Picks LSU

Former Mizzou guard Xavier Pinson has committed to play for LSU, according to his Instagram account.

He chose the Tigers over several other schools, including Kansas.

Pinson entered the transfer portal a few days after MU’s season ended in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The Chicago native scored two points in just 18 minutes in Mizzou’s loss to Oklahoma. He was not in the game for the final six minutes.

Pinson averaged 13.6 points per game during his junior season. He had a career-high 36 points on Jan. 30 against TCU.

Pinson is staying in the SEC, so he will face Mizzou at some point next season. He’s one of six players to transfer away from the program this offseason.
