KHS Tigers Top Marshall

The Kirksville Tigers got back on track with a physical win over Marshall Tuesday 70-59. The game was tied 28-28 at the half, but the Tigers outscored Marshall 18-7 in the 3rd to go up 46-35. The Owls still played tough in the fourth getting to within 4 points, but a huge 4th quarter by Isaac Danielson helped KHS pull away. Danielson, our Player Of The Game, scored 14 fourth quarter points on his way to 20 on the night. He also hit four huge free throws down the stretch. Noah Copeland led all scorers with 31 points, as he had a huge night underneath the basket. Marshall turned the ball over 17 times. The Tigers climb to 14-5 overall and 4-4 in the NCMC. Wednesday, the Tigers return home to face Marshall again, a makeup JV/Varsity boys double header. Varsity coverage on KIRX at 7:00.
