The Kirksville Lady Tigers went to overtime and beat Marshall in the regular season finale 46-40 Tuesday at Marshall. Marshall gave KHS chance after chance all night, but the Lady Tigers just could not take advantage UNTIL late in the fourth quarter. KHS took their first lead with two minutes to play, and ended regulation with a 37-37 tie. Then Kirksville outscored Marshall 9-3 in the overtime to win 46-40. Jenna Jackson is our Player Of The Game by going 3 for 3 at the free throw line in the fourth quarter and overtime, Corinne Vorkink and Erica Treasure also hit a couple of big free throws late. Jackson finished with 18 points and finished 5 for 5 at the free throw line. Vorkink finished with14 points. KHS finishes the regular season at 11-10, 7-3 in the NCMC. Next, the Lady Tigers will host these same Marshall Owls in the district tournament Monday at 6:00 at Tiger Gym.
