Moberly Upends Lady Tigers

It was Moberly’s turn to dominate the Lady Tigers Monday. After two big Lady Tiger wins over the Lady Spartans in the first two meetings of the year, Moberly shut down KHS 55-40. Corinne Vorkink missed the game with an illness and her absence was noticeable. Moberly pressed Kirksville all game long and forced 15 Kirksville turnovers. KHS had trouble getting the inside game going and Moberly took full advantage. Freshman Grace Billington had 16 points, and Asa Fanning had 11. Devan Corbett led Kirksville with 11. The Lady Tigers slip to 10-10 on the year, 6-3 in the NCMC. Next, the Lady Tigers will finish the regular season with a road trip to Marshall Tuesday at 6:10.
