Mary Lou Snow

Mary Louise Snow, age 83 of Macon, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri.

Born May 7, 1937 in Knox City, Missouri, the daughter of Eddie Earl and Velma M. (Richardson) Benstine. On December 24, 1955 in Kirksville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Snow who preceded her in death on June 9, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jan Snow of Arlington, Texas and Mark and Paula Snow of Macon, Missouri; one brother, Earl Benstine of Dawson, Georgia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Granville Edwards of Bevier, Missouri and Melinda and Thomas Glydewell of Macon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Steven, Marissa, and Colby Snow, Stephanie East-Long, and Brian East; and ten great grandchildren.

Mary Lou worked for many years at the glove factory in Edina, Missouri and later at Ortech in Kirksville, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, garage sales, and traveling, especially to the mountains. Mary Lou loved her dogs, Patty and Molly, and spending time with her family.

Mary Lou has been cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, MO.
