Jimmie E. Bland, 81, of Kirksville, Mo, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2020.
He was born October 30, 1939 the son of the late Ellison and Grace (Browen) Bland.
Jim is survived by his wife Shirley Bland of 60 plus years; one daughter, Kathy Allan and fiance Johnny Harrelson of Kirksville, Mi).; one little four legged friend, Ruby Doo. Granddaughters Tonya (Aaron) Lee of Raleigh, NC; Vanessa (Hakeen) Whittaker McLea and Coby of Columbia, Mo; one sister, Helen Starbuck of Austin, TX.; one brother, Rex (Karen) Bland of Kansas City, MO; special long time fishing buddy, Bert (Kathy) Chaney of Florida.
Jim was a jack of all trades, loved to hunting, fishing, play cards, gardening and taking a good cruise.
Jim was proud of his family and loved to spend time with his daughter and granddaughters.
Expression of sympathy in memory of Jimmie may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
A Memorial service will be planned and held at a later date due to Covid-19.
