Billy Jarvis, 50, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away in his sleep at his home on Friday, September 11, 2020.
Billy Leon Jarvis was born in Unionville, Missouri, on December 29, 1969, the son of Ellis and Zella (Garr) Jarvis. He was reared in Unionville and attended school at Putnam County schools. Even though Billy was considered disabled, he liked to mow yards and do odd jobs. He helped his father dig graves and worked for a time at Diamond Shield Wax. He also liked to tinker with old lawn mowers. Billy had a friendly personality and liked to be around people.
Billy is survived by his wife Elizabeth and stepdaughter Comissa Darling of Delta, Iowa. He is also survived by five brothers, Ellis Jarvis of Elvaston, Illinois, Francis Jarvis of Unionville, Missouri, Timothy Jarvis of Milan, Missouri, and James and Damian Rogers; and a sister, Mae Ann Shelton of Kirksville, Missouri.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Melvin Jarvis, and his grandparents.
Graveside services for Billy Jarvis will be at the Unionville Cemetery in Unionville, Missouri at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 14, 2020. Interment will be at the Unionville Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville, MO.
