Paul Judd

Paul Judd, 76 years old, of Pharr, Texas, formerly of Milan, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at his home.

Paul was born June 19, 1944 in Milan to Edward and Elfreida (Jennings) Judd. On July 3, 1964 in Green City, he married Bonnie (Rouse) Judd, she survives him of the home. Also surviving: a daughter, Paula and husband Steve Gardner of Charlotte, North Carolina; a son, Jason and wife Teresa Judd of Alliance, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Chelsea and husband Lucas Cain, Jonna and husband Anthony Bailczyk, Gage Gardner, and Austin Judd; four great grandchildren, Peyton Maness, Asher Dean, Lucy Cain, and Ruby Cain; a sister, Judy and husband Monty Gordon of Salsbury, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by: His parents; a sister, Ila Schoonover, and two brothers, Joe Judd and Gary Judd.

Paul grew up in Milan, graduating from Milan High School in 1961. After high school he had several jobs including selling magazines, owning both MFA and the COOP gas stations in Green City, and owning a mechanic shop that he later made a body shop. He then started working at Farm Bureau Insurance in Green City, later owning and operating American Family Insurance in Milan, working in the insurance business for 37 years altogether.

Paul was a past member of the Pollock Masonic Lodge, the Milan Elks Lodge, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Paul’s favorite hobby was working for others doing carpentry. He also enjoyed rebuilding old cars and was a champion Go-Kart racer in Green City.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City, Missouri. A visitation is scheduled for 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday evening at the funeral home.
