Janette (Janet) Marlene Crawford, 80 years old, of Lifecare Center in Brookfield, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, Missouri.
Janette was born on September, 23, 1939 in Brookfield, Missouri to Gerald Frances (Bud) and Doris Magdeline (Payne) Crawford.
On August 10, 1958 she married Everett (Gabe) Peters of Browning, Missouri. Together they were blessed with three children, Roy, Ronda, and Robin.
Survivors include: one son, Roy Peters and wife, Melissa of Brookfield, Missouri; two daughters, Ronda Simpson and husband, Danny of Milan, Missouri, and Robin Branham and husband, Bennie of Henderson, NV; four grandchildren, Dustin Peters, Jeryk (Megan) Eddy, Aaron (Kayla) Eddy and family, and Gracie Simpson; one sister, Karen Gooch (Frank Leslie); one brother, Lanny (Karen) Crawford and one sister in law, Reva Crawford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Janette was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Crawford and one brother in law, Wayne Gooch.
Janette spent most of her life in Boynton, Browning, and Milan and was a member of the Boynton Baptist Church. Janette worked as a beautician and as an LPN. Janette loved spending time with her family and her dog, Dexter, watching demolition derbies, Bingo, shopping, hunting, fishing, riding horses, sewing, reading, and going to thrift stores and yard sales.
A memorial service for Janette will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. A visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service, starting at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, North of Milan.
