The Kirksville Tigers shut out the Marshall Owls 40-0 Friday spoiling Marshall’s Homecoming. The Tigers used great blocking up front to pave the way for Jace Kent and Logan Martin. Kent carried the ball 15 times for 153 yards and four touchdowns, Martin scored twice, Ryder Lyons threw for 215 yards on 13 of 17 passing. Brantley Kottwitz made 7 tackles, one for a loss and did a fantastic job up front on offense. The Tiger defense held Marshall to 185 total yards. KHJS climbs to 5-0 on the year, 2-0 in the NCMC and will host Hannibal for Homecoming next week.
