Dallas 38 – WASHINGTON 10… The Cowboys (12-5) took down the Commanders (4-13) to earn the NVC East title and the division’s second seed. Dak Prescott found CeeDee Lamb with two of his four touchdown passes. Dallas hosts Green Bay in the wild-card round next Sunday.
DETROIT 30 – Minnesota 20… The NFC North-champion Lions (12-5) handled the Vikings (7-10) to finish as the NFC’s No. 3 seed. The victory may have been costly, however, as they lost rookie tight end Sam LaPorta to a potentially serious knee injury. Detroit hosts the L.A. Rams in the wild-card round on Sunday.
Tampa Bay 9 – CAROLINA 0… The Buccaneers (9-8) grinded out a win over the Panthers (2-15) to win their third straight NFC South title and are headed to the playoffs for the fourth straight season as the NFC’s fourth seed. Chase McLaughlin kicked three field goals, Tampa Bay’s defense forced two turnovers. Tampa Bay hosts fifth-seeded Philadelphia in the wild-card round next Monday night.
N.Y. GIANTS 27 – Philadelphia 10… The Giants (6-11) dealt the playoff-bound Eagles (11-6) their fifth loss in six games. Saquon Barkley ran for a pair of scores and Darius Slayton caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor as New York scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter to build a 24-0 halftime lead.
L.A. Rams 21 – SAN FRANCISCO 20… Carson Wentz threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score as the Rams (10-7) secured the NFC’s sixth seed by edging the top-seeded 49ers (12-5). Wentz scored on a 12-yard run with 4:56 to play and hit Tutu Atwell for a two-point conversion and the winning margin.
GREEN BAY 17 – Chicago 9… The Packers (9-8) fought off the Bears (7-10) to win their third in a row and secure the NFC’s seventh seed. Jordan Love found Dontayvion Wicks with a pair of touchdown passes and passed for 316 yards on the day.
Buffalo 21 – MIAMI 14… The Bills (11-6) scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to rally past the Dolphins (11-6) and claim their fourth straight AFC East title, along with the AFC’s second seed. Buffalo hosts seventh-seeded Pittsburgh in the wild-card round on Sunday.
Kansas City 13 – L.A. CHARGERS 12… A Chiefs (11-6) team that already clinched the NFC West and the AFC’s third seed got a 41-year field goal from Harrison Butker with 49 seconds remaining to top the Chargers (5-12). Mike Edwards returned a fumble 97 yards for a touchdown. Kansas City hosts sixth-seeded Miami in the wild-card round on Saturday.
TENNESSEE 28 – Jacksonville 20… The Titans (6-11) knocked the Jaguars (9-8) out of the postseason. Their victory handed the Houston Texans the AFC South title and a No. 4 seed in the playoffs and gave the Pittsburgh Steelers a wild-card spot and the AFC’s seventh seed.
CINCINNATI 31 – Cleveland 14… The Bengals (9-8) cruised past a Browns (11-6) team that already clinched a wild card spot and the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs. Cleveland plays at Houston on Saturday.
In games involving non-playoff teams…
N.Y. Jets 17, NEW ENGLAND 3… The Jets finish 7-10; the Patriots went 4-13.
NEW ORLEANS 48, Atlanta 17… The Saints finish 9-8; the Falcons went 7-10.
