Maxine Dorothy Maggart, 92 years old, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at her home.
Maxine was born January 21, 1931, to Virgil and Ilah (Hollon) Mendenhall. On December 19, 1948, in Browning, Missouri, she married Ronald Linn Maggart, he preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded by: Her parents; a son, Danny Maggart; and siblings, Louise Morris, Herbert Mendenhall, and Robert Mendenhall.
Maxine is survived by: A daughter-in-law, Julie Maggart of Linneus, Missouri; a son, Donnie Maggart (Reta) of Milan; Grandchildren, Bart Maggart, Jamie (Matt) Svuba, Ashley (John) Tanner, Logan (Tasha) Maggart, Callen (Clayton) Rollins, and Tanner (Christy) Maggart; 10 Great Grandchildren; a niece; and two nephews.
A graveside service for Maxine will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Knifong Cemetery, East of Browning, Missouri. Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital.
