The Kirksville Tigers shook off a slow start and put away Highland 61-24 Tuesday at Tiger Gym. KHS outscored the Cougars 24-5 in a critical 2nd quarter, led at the half 36-10 and sailed from there. Great game from Justin McKim who was a force on the inside and finished with 18 points, all in the first three quarters until he got pulled in a continuous clock fourth. Cole Kelly was the other Tiger in double figures with 11. KHS forced 22 turnovers while only committing 6 of their own. Next, the guys head to Shelbina for a date with South Shelby Tuesday night. That will be part two of our doubleheader with coverage starting at 5:45 on KIRX and the page.
