St. Louis 3 – ANAHEIM 1… The Blues got unanswered goals from Jake Neighbours and Pavel Buchnevich in the first period on their way past the Ducks. Alexey Toropchenko added a second-period goal. Joel Hofer made 30 saves at goal.
Toronto 4 – MINNESOTA 3 (OT)… The Maple Leafs recovered to outlast the Wild after blowing a two-goal third-period lead. William Nylander netted the wining goal at 3:09 of overtime. Morgan Rielly had a goal and two assists.
PHILADELPHIA 5 – Columbus 2… The Flyers skated past the Blue Jackets for their fifth straight win. Ryan Poehling had a goal and two assists. Joel Farabee added a goal and an assist.
PITTSBURGH 3 – Vegas 0… Goalie Alex Nedeljkovic returned from injury and stopped 37 shots as the Penguins shut out the Golden Knights. Ryan Graves and Noel Acciari scored for Pittsburgh before Evgeni Malkin added an empty-netter.
Buffalo 3 – CHICAGO 2… Erik Johnson scored a tie-breaking goal midway through the third period and the Sabres made it stand in edging the Blackhawks. Rasmus Dahlin scored a goal and assisted on two others.
