Chiefs Keep Wilson In Check, Beat Broncos

Russell Wilson was 13 of 22 for 95 yards with a touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton, but two big interceptions on Thursday night, and the Kansas City Chiefs beat Denver 19-8.

The Chiefs defense sacked Wilson four times.

Harrison Butker’s four field goals, including a 60-yarder as time expired in the first half and a clinching 52-yarder with 1:55 left in the game, ultimately proved to be the difference.

Patrick Mahomes finished with 306 yards passing and an interception of his own, and a big chunk of his production went to Travis Kelce, who had nine catches for 124 yards.

The Chiefs host the Chargers Sunday the 22nd.
