Don Evan Shutty, 74 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Milan Health Care Center in Milan. Evan was born December 17, 1948, to Donald Jackson and Avis Ruth (Wattenbarger) Shutty.
Survivors include: His brother, Steve Shutty and wife Martha of Kansas City; two nieces, Carolyn Miller and husband Kyle of Kansas City, Elizabeth Shutty of Mexico City, Mexico; a nephew, Nick Shutty of Kansas City; three cousins, Dave Swiss and wife Cindy, Lyn Thomas and husband Don, and LaNell Grisoli and husband Rob. He is preceded in death by: His parents, Donald and Avis; and Grandparents, Frank and Adele (Jackson) Shutty and Nova J. and Fern Irene (Eubanks) Wattenbarger.
A private burial for Evan was held at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 30, 2023 at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan.
