COLORADO 1 – Washington 0… Kyle Freeland limited the Nationals to four hits over 6-2/3 innings and two Rockies relievers completed the shutout of the Nationals. Kris Bryant singled home Ezequiel Tovar with the game’s only run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
ATLANTA 7 – San Diego 6… Orlando Arcia homered with the bases empty in the bottom of the third inning and singled home Eddie Rosario with the winning run in the ninth to give the Braves a come-from-behind win over the Padres in their home opener. Matt Olson and Travis d’Arnaud produced run-scoring singles in the eighth to tie the game.
L.A. Dodgers 5 – ARIZONA 2… Dustin May (1-0) held the Diamondbacks to a run on two hits over six innings and the Dodgers grinded out the win. Freddie Freeman hit a solo homer.
Miami – N.Y. METS (ppd)… Rain in New York forced postponement of yesterday’s Marlins-Mets game. It will be made up today.
Cincinnati – PHILADELPHIA (ppd)… Rain in Philadelphia forced postponement of yesterday’s Reds-Phillies game. It will be made up today.

Boston 6 – DETROIT 3… Adam Duvall’s three-run homer capped a four-run bottom of the sixth inning that carried the Red Sox past the Tigers. Rafael Devers also went deep for Boston.
Toronto 6 – KANSAS CITY 3… Kevin Gausman (1-1) pitched four-hit ball over six scoreless innings and the Blue Jays double up on the Royals. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cavan Biggio hit solo homers. Matt Chapman stroked a two-run double.
N.Y. Yankees – BALTIMORE (ppd)… Rain in Baltimore forced postponement of yesterday’s Yankees-Orioles game. It will be made up today.
Houston – MINNESOTA (ppd)… Rain in the Twin Cities forced postponement of yesterday’s Astros-Twins game. It will be made up today.

San Francisco 16 – CHI. WHITE SOX 6… J.D. Davis unloaded a grand slam to cap the scoring in the Giants’ shelling of the White Sox. Michael Conforto cracked a three-run shot. Mike Yastrzemski and Wilmer Flores hit two-run homers while Blake Sabol added a solo shot.
