Detroit 3 – ST. LOUIS 2 (SO)… Luca Raymond scored the lone goal in a four-round shootout to send the Red Wings past the Blues. Alex Chiasson and Filip Zadina scored first-period goals for Detroit.
BOSTON 2 – Ottawa 1… David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk scored back-to-back goals late in the first period to give the Bruins the lead for good in their win over the Senators. Hampus Lindholm assisted on both goals. Linus Ullmark stopped 40 shots at goal.
Nashville 7 – BUFFALO 3… Luke Evangelista scored back-to-back goals 40 seconds apart to highlight a four-goal second period that carried the Predators past the Sabres. Evangelista also had two assists. Matt Duchene added two goals and an assist.
MONTREAL 3 – Tampa Bay 2… Mike Matheson’s second-period goal proved to be the difference as the Canadiens held off the Lightning. Kirby Dach and Jonathan Drouin netted first-period goals. Goalie Sam Montembeault made 31 saves.
Carolina 3 – N.Y. RANGERS 2… The Hurricanes came alive to score all three goals in the third period and top the Rangers. Teuvo Teravainen scored a go-ahead goal with 2:33 remaining. Jalen Chatfield and Stefan Noesen also found the net.
Minnesota 2 – NEW JERSEY 1 (OT)… Matt Boldy scored on a breakaway with 2 seconds left in overtime to lift the Wild over the Devils. Mason Shaw opened the scoring earlier in the period. Filip Gustavsson stopped 48 shots at goal.
PHILADELPHIA 6 – Florida 3… Travis Sanheim found the net twice during a four-goal second period and the Flyers went on to double up on the Panthers. Joel Farabee had a goal and an assist. Carter Hart made 41 stops at goal.
Columbus 7 – WASHINGTON 6 (OT)… The Blue Jackets overcame an early three-goal deficit to outlast the Capitals. Jack Roslovic’s second goal of the game won it at 2:43 of overtime. Adam Boqvist also scored two goals. Bonne Jenner netted a tying goal with 47 seconds left in regulation.
N.Y. ISLANDERS 7 – Toronto 2… The Islanders breezed past the Maple Leafs after spotting them an early goal. Cal Clutterbuck scored two goals and assisted on another. Anders Lee and Noah Dobson each had a goal and an assist.
WINNIPEG 2 – Arizona 1… Nikolaj Ehlers and Adam Lowry scored first-period goals and the Jets hung on to edge the Coyotes. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 29 shots at goal.
Seattle 5 – DALLAS 4 (OT)… The Kraken recovered to outlast the Stars after blowing a two-goal lead late in the third period. Adam Larsson netted the game-winner at 1:52 of overtime. Brandon Tanev scored twice and had an assist.
Calgary 5 – ANAHEIM 1… Five different players found the net as the Flames skated past the Ducks. Nick Ritchie scored 37 seconds into the contest. Tyler Toffoli had three assists.
Vegas 4 – VANCOUVER 3… Pavel Dorofeyev’s goal late in the second period proved to be decisive as the Golden Knights held off the Canucks. William Karlsson set up two goals. Goalie Jonathan Quick made 32 saves.
