NBA SCOREBOARD…
Washington 116 – NEW YORK 105… The Wizards jumped out to an early double-digit lead and maintained control in their defeat of the Knicks. Kyle Kuzma scored 27 points and brought down 13 rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis added 22 points and 11 boards.

Atlanta 130 – DALLAS 122… The Hawks came up big in the fourth quarter to put away the Mavericks and win their fourth in a row. Dejounte Murray pumped in 30 points to lead eight players in double figures. Trae Young scored 18 points and dished off 12 assists.

Charlotte 122 – HOUSTON 117… The Hornets rallied past the Rockets in the second half to snap their five-game skid. Seven players scored in double figures, led by Terry Rozier’s 26 points. Jalen Green’s 41 points weren’t enough for Houston.

MEMPHIS 115 – Cleveland 114… Steven Adams tipped in a go-ahead basket with 16.1 seconds remaining and the Grizzlies held on to top the Cavaliers and tie a franchise record with their 11th straight win. Memphis got 25 points from Desmond Bane and 24 from Ja Morant.

Miami 124 – NEW ORLEANS 98… Bam Adebayo scored 26 points to lead a balanced scoring attack and the Heat breezed past the Pelicans. Max Strus came off the bench to deliver 16 points and 10 assists.

OKLAHOMA CITY 126 – Indiana 106… The Thunder led by 16 points after the first quarter and never looked back in their thrashing of the Pacers for their fourth straight win. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Isaiah Joe scored 23 points. Luguentz Dort finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

UTAH 126 – L.A. Clippers 103…  Lauri Markkanen scored 34 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in his return from injury to lead the Jazz in their thrashing of the Clippers. Walker Kessler had 13 points and 11 boards. Four other players scored in double figures for Utah.

DENVER 122 – Minnesota 118… The Nuggets came from behind in the fourth quarter to down the Timberwolves for their 15th straight win at home. Nikola Jokic racked up 31 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists. Jamal Murray made a go-ahead basket with 55 seconds left and finished with 28 points.

Sacramento 116 – L.A. LAKERS 111… The Kings overcame a rough start to get the better of the Lakers. De’Aaron Fox led the way with 31 points. Harrison Barnes tossed in 20 points. Richaun Homes had 16 points and 11 boards.
