KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Ellie Weltha reached the 1000-point milestone and Truman State Women’s basketball avenged their loss to SBU earlier in the season, winning 70-64 on Monday night.
Weltha scored 20 points in her historic game, complimented by 10 rebounds and an assist. It was her seventh double-double of the season.
Alex Fanning had her second-best scoring game of the season, putting up 18 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.
Hannah Belanger had another double-digit game with 15 points. She also added seven boards and a steal.
Truman State plays at Missouri S&T on Thursday, January 19th at 5:30 p.m., and at Drury on Saturday, January 21st, at 1 p.m.
