NFL PLAYOFF SCOREBOARD…
BUFFALO 34 – Miami 31… Josh Allen passed for 324 yards and three touchdowns in leading the AFC East-champion Bills to a hard-fought win over the AFC wild card Dolphins. Allen hit Cole Beasley with a go-ahead 6-yard scoring pass in the third quarter and added a 23-yard TD strike to Gabe Davis. Stefon Diggs had seven catches for 114 yards. Buffalo hosts Cincinnati on Sunday in the divisional round.
CINCINNATI 24 – Baltimore 17… Sam Hubbard snagged a Tyler Huntley fumble and ran 98 yards for a tie-breaking touchdown in the fourth quarter in a stunning turn of events and the AFC North-champion Bengals hung on at the end to get past the AFC wild card Ravens. Hubbard’s return was the longest in NFL playoff history. Huntley got the start at quarterback for Baltimore in place of the injured Lamar Jackson. Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow threw for a touchdown and ran for another.
N.Y. Giants 31 – MINNESOTA 24… Daniel Jones threw touchdown passes to Isaiah Hodgins and Daniel Bellinger, Saquon Barkley ran for a pair of scores and the NFC wild card Giants eliminated the NFC North-champion Vikings for their first postseason win in 11 years. Jones also rushed for 78 yards. Hodgins finished with eight catches for 105 yards. New York visits Philadelphia on Saturday in the divisional round next weekend.
