Lady Tigers Punch Ticket To Consolation Championship Game

The Kirksville Lady Tigers bounced back with a dominating win over Clark Co. 59-38 Wednesday at the Highland Tournament. KHS led from start to finish and had four players in double figures, led by Channing Totts with 13 points, 11 each for Lauren Fortney and Jada Jackson, and 10 from Elli Porter. KHS only committed 11 turnovers, a significant improvement, while taking the ball away 23 times. Kirksville snaps a three game losing streak, and punched their ticket to the Consolation Championship game Friday afternoon against Macon, coached by first year head coach and former Lady Tiger Natalie Garlock. 4:15 with the pregame and the tip at 4:30 Friday. Thursday night, the 2nd seed Tigers play 3rd seed Palmyra in the boys semifinals at 7:15 on KIRX.
