The Kirksville Tigers and Isaac Danielson put away the Mexico Bulldogs at the free throw line Tuesday and picked up a huge win 83-71. KHS led by 7 at halftime, 39-32, then outscored the Bulldogs 17-8 in the 3rd quarter. Danielson put down 14 free throws out of 14 attempts in the fourth quarter. He was 18 for 19 for the game and finished with 32 points. Keaton Anderson led KHS with 33 points, including 4 three-pointers. Cole Kelly was the other Tiger in double figures with 11. He had 3 three-pointers in the second quarter to help KHS take that 7 point lead at the break. Jordan Shelton led Mexico with 28 points, DJ Long with 26. The Tigers get to 4-1 on the year, 2-0 in the NCMC. Next, the Tigers will be part two of Friday’s home double header with Fulton.
