N.Y. RANGERS 6 – St. Louis 4… The Rangers scored three unanswered goals in the third period to overcome the Blues. Alexis Lafreniere netted the go-ahead goal. He and Vincent Trocheck each had a goal and an assist. Tony DeAngelo and Owen Tippett scored power-play goals.
Vegas 4 – BOSTON 3 (SO)… The Golden Knights recovered to outlast the Bruins after blowing a three-goal second-period lead. Reilly Smith scored the lone goal in a five-round tie-breaker. Paul Cotter found the net twice. Shea Theodore set up two goals. Goalie Logan Thompson stopped 40 shots.
PHILADELPHIA 5 – Colorado 3… The Flyers skated past the Avalanche after spotting them an early goal. Travis Sanheim had a goal and an assist. Kevin Hayes and Scott Laughton added two assists apiece.
Washington 3 – EDMONTON 2… Nic Dowd scored a tie-breaking goal in the third period and the Capitals made it stand in their win over the Oilers. Lars Eller and T.J. Oshie scored second-period goals for Washington.
CALGARY 3 – Arizona 2… Nazem Kadri’s power-play goal with 4:18 remaining proved to be the difference in the Flames’ win over the Coyotes. Dillon Dube and Elias Lindholm scored first-period goals.
VANCOUVER 7 – Montreal 6 (OT)… The Canucks overcame a four-goal deficit to outlast the Canadiens. Elias Pettersson scored the winning goal 13 seconds into overtime. Andrei Kuzmenko netted a tying goal with 1:25 left in regulation. Ilya Mikheyev found the net twice.
