ST. LOUIS 5 – Washington 4 (SO)… The Blues recovered to outlast the Capitals after blowing a three-goal second-period lead. Ryan O’Reilly and Pavel Buchnevich scored in regulation and in the shootout. Vladimir Tarasenko had two assists.
BOSTON 4 – Philadelphia 1… David Krejci’s back-to-back goals capped a three-goal third period that carried the Bruins past the Flyers. Nick Foligno and Pavel Zacha each had two assists.
Colorado 3 – CAROLINA 2 (OT)… Artturi Lehkonen found the net 1:55 into overtime to lift the Avalanche over the Hurricanes. Evan Rodrigues and Alex Newhook scored in regulation for Colorado.
COLUMBUS 6 – Montreal 4… Sean Kuraly scored two of the Blue Jackets’ four third-period goals to help put away the Canadiens. Boone Jenner had a goal and an assist. Erik Gudbranson set up two goals.
Dallas 6 – FLORIDA 4… The Stars scored four unanswered goals in the first period and held off the Panthers. Roope Hintz found the net twice. Tyler Sequin scored a goal and assisted on another.
TAMPA BAY 4 – Calgary 1… Nikita Kucherov scored a power-play goal and added an empty-netter as the Lightning skated past the Flames. Mikhail Sergachev assisted on two goals. Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy made 39 saves.
New Jersey 3 – TORONTO 2 (OT)… Yegor Sharangovich lit the lamp 57 seconds into overtime to give the Devils a hard-fought win over the Maple Leafs. Vitak Vanecek stopped 25 shots at goal.
Pittsburgh 6 – MINNESOTA 4… Sidney Crosby scored two goals and assisted on two others in leading the Penguins past the Wild. Jake Guentzel had a goal and two assists.
NASHVILLE 5 – N.Y. Islanders 4… The Predators built a three-goal second-period lead and hung on to edge the Islanders. Juuso Parssinen netted two goals and had an assist. Filip Forsberg added a goal and an assist. Roman Josi piled up four assists.
WINNIPEG 3 – Anaheim 2… Kyle Connor scored his third goal of the game with 54 seconds remaining to send the Jets past the Ducks. Mark Scheifele set up two goals. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves.
SEATTLE 3 – N.Y. Rangers 2 (OT)… Justin Schultz scored his second goal of the game at 3:39 of overtime to push the Kraken past the Rangers. Jared McCann opened the scoring with a first-period goal.
VEGAS 4 – Arizona 1… The Golden Knights buried the Coyotes with a three-goal third period. Alex Pietrangelo scored a goal and assisted on two others. Jonathan Marchessault set up two goals.
Detroit 7 – SAN JOSE 4… Moritz Seider netted a tie-breaking goal with 6:06 remaining and the Red Wings scored twice more to put away the Sharks. David Peron had a goal and two assists. Pius Suter added a goal and an assist.
