Mary M. Beeler

Mary Madaliene (Moore) Beeler, 101 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, Iowa where she had been a resident since April 2022.

Mary was the daughter of Charles Herbert and Gertrude Opal (Kerby) Moore. She was born in Glenwood, Missouri and graduated from Glenwood High School in Glenwood, Missouri.

On March 22, 1941 in Queen City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Okley Otto Beeler and to this union four children were born, Tony, Ronnie, Martha and Ricky.

Survivors include her children, Ron Beeler and wife, Mary Ellen of Union, Missouri, Martha Duley and husband, Glen of Moulton, Iowa, Rick Beeler and wife, Patricia of Minooka, Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Jean Beeler of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; five step-great grandsons; three great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Charles Beeler of Lancaster, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Violet Smoot of Kansas; special niece, Penny Brummer; special nephew, Phil Beeler and many other wonderful nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Okley Beeler on May 26, 2001; her eldest son, Tony Beeler; two brothers and their wives, Kenneth Moore and wife, Betty and Clyde Moore and wife, Ruth; one sister, Betty Beeler and her husband, Dale Beeler.

She was a member of the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Missouri and helped with the women’s fellowship for years. Mary was an exceptional cook and could clean anything. She was a wonderful role model, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Her earthly presence will be missed.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 11:30 a.m at the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri with Ronnie Beeler officiating. Pallbearers will be Sean Beeler, Chad Beeler, Carla Hubert, Ronda Drury, Joe Wortman and Doug Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Beth Smith, Mindy Wortman, Brad Beeler, Lynne Hoeing and Megan Turner.
