NATIONAL LEAGUE
N.Y. METS 5 – L.A. Dodgers 3… Chris Bassitt (12-7) held the Dodgers to two runs on six hits over six innings and the Mets held on for the win. Starling Marte and Francisco Lindor both had a couple of hits and an RBI.

ATLANTA 3 – Colorado 0… Spencer Strider (9-4) pitched two-hit ball and piled up 16 strikeouts over eight innings before Kenley Jansen completed the Braves’ shutout of the Rockies. Austin Riley and Michael Harris II hit solo homers for Atlanta.

ARIZONA 5 – Milwaukee 0… Merrill Kelly (12-5) pitched four-hit ball over seven innings and the Diamondbacks breezed past the Brewers. Christian Walker provided all the offense Milwaukee needed with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning. Josh Rojas added a two-run double in the sixth.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Seattle 7 – DETROIT 0… Logan Gilbert (11-5) limited the Tigers to two hits over six innings and three Mariners relievers completed the shutout. Ty France homered and singled home a run. Julio Rodriguez also went deep. Curt Casali lined a two-run double.

CHI. WHITE SOX 7 – Kansas City 1… The White Sox rolled past the Royals after spotting them an early lead. AJ Pollock and Andrew Vaughn hit two-run homers. Elvis Andrus and Luis Garcia each had a couple of hits and an RBI.

Baltimore 3 – CLEVELAND 0… Kyle Bradish (3-5) pitched two-hit ball over seven innings and got help from two Orioles relievers in the blanking of the Guardians. Cedric Mullins homered to lead off the game for Baltimore and Anthony Santander also homered in the first.

BOSTON 9 – Texas 8… The Red Sox dame from five runs down after 7-1/2 innings to upend the Rangers. Rob Refsnyder singled home Rafael Devers with the winning run to cap a four-run bottom of the ninth inning. Devers sparked the rally with a two-run double. Alex Verdugo homered for Boston. Christian Arroyo had a couple of hits and knocked in three runs.

INTERLEAGUE
WASHINGTON 7 – Oakland 5 (10 innings)… Pinch-hitter Keibert Ruiz singled home a run and Joey Meneses blasted a walkoff three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Nationals rallied past the Athletics. Meneses also singled home the game’s first run in the first and finished with four hits on the night.
