AL Wins All-Star Game

MLB ALL-STAR GAME… Giancarlo Stanton homered with a runner made it and Byron Buxton made it back-to-back jacks as the American League scored all three runs in the top of the fourth inning to rally past the National League in last night’s Major League All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. It was the American League’s ninth straight win in the Midsummer Classic. Stanton was named the game’s most valuable player. Mookie Betts singled home a run and Paul Goldschmidt homered in the first to stake the Nationals to an early lead. Regular-season play resumes tomorrow.
