Terry Max Goodwin, age 66, of Knox City, MO passed away Sunday July 3rd, 2022 in Knox City, MO. Terry was born May 25th, 1956 in Kirksville, MO. He was the son of Max and Marilyn Goodwin of Knox City MO.
Terry attended school in Knox City, MO and graduated Knox County Highschool in 1974. Terry immediately began working construction, quickly becoming the hard worker he was known to be throughout his life. Terry married Karen (Pulse) September 1st, 1979.
Terry was a valued active member of the Knox City volunteer Fire Department since 1986. He furthered his passion for saving lives when he became an EMT in 1991 and worked for the Knox County Ambulance district. Terry continued construction work with the Labors Union, which he worked for 37 years, retiring in 2011. Terry was a member of the Knox City Methodist Church. He was a Past Master of the Colony Lodge #168.
He was preceded in death by his father Max Goodwin.
Survivors include, his wife Karen, son, Kurt & Kisha and granddaughters Cassidy, Kiersen (Edina, MO) Son, Cody & Kris and grandson Toby of (St. Louis, MO) Mother, Marilyn of Knox City, MO, 4 siblings, Debbie Rudd (Wayne) of Knox City MO, Diane Lee (Mark) of Hannibal MO, Sheila Goodwin of Labelle MO and Todd Goodwin (Lori) of Knox City MO, father and mother-in-law Danny and Carol Pulse, brother-in-laws Keith (late Laverne) Pulse and Tony (Rhonda) Pulse and numerous nieces and nephews. Terry loved his family especially his three grandkids.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO on Friday, July 8, 2022, beginning at 6 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. with a prayer. Ron Troutt will be the speaker. Music will be Go Rest High On That Mountain.
Burial will be held at a later date in the Knox City Cemetery.
