Orioles Take Care Of Royals

The Baltimore Orioles opened up a 7-0 lead in Kansas City and had to hold on to beat the Royals 10-7.

A four run second inning, which included back to back home runs, staked the Orioles to the early lead. Michael A. Taylor and Bobby Witt Jr. each homered in the bottom of the seventh as the Royals scratched their way back into the game, but Cionel Perez shut it down in the bottom of the ninth to earn the save.

Brad Keller took the loss, lasting just an inning and two thirds, giving up five runs on seven hits.

He dips to 1-8.

Kansas City hits the west coast Monday with a date at San Francisco, Brady Singer will go up against Alex Wood at 8:45.
