Kirksville Tiger Wrestler Jaden Ballinger won the Class 2 state championship at 170 pounds Saturday. Ballinger won a 2-1 tiebreaker thriller over Zach Lewis of Moberly in the championship match. Ballinger finishes the season with a record of 34-3. Kirksville’s Colton Hannah won third place at 220 pounds, Hunter Tarr won third at 126, and Jaden Crisp took 5th at 106 pounds. The Tigers finished third in the team standings with 98 points. Pleasant Hill ran away with the championship with 178 1/2.
