Jerry Dee Lincoln

Jerry Dee Lincoln, age 60, of Novelty, MO, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, in Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.

He was born in Kirksville, MO, on May 15, 1961, the son of Orlo James and Marilyn Joyce Snow Lincoln. He was united in marriage to Martha Colleen Craggs on July 26, 1986, at Novelty, MO.

Surviving are his wife Colleen Lincoln of Novelty, MO, his mother Marilyn Lincoln of Novelty, MO, three children, Garrett James (Haley) Lincoln of Centralia, MO, Nicollette Cary of Kansas City, MO, and Taylor Danielle Lincoln of Kansas City, MO, a granddaughter Elizabeth Louanne Lincoln, a twin brother Terry Lee Lincoln of Belton, MO, two sisters Connie Joyce (Allen) Ballard of New London, MO, and Cindy Elizabeth (Jason) Violette of Novelty, MO, nieces and nephew, Leah Lincoln, Ken Ballard and Cadie Violette, and numerous extended family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, a sister-in-law Lana Lincoln, and his mother and father-in-law, Della Lou and Wallace Craggs.

Jerry graduated from Knox County High School in 1979. On December 15, 1992, he began his employment with MFA in Novelty and LaPlata, MO and was currently manager of Novelty, LaPlata and LaBelle Bulkplant’s. He coached boys’ basketball in Novelty and also coached 5th and 6th grade basketball at Knox County Schools. He loved his cows, running his skid loader, Chief’s Football, and playing with his granddaughter. He was a member of the Leonard Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, January 21, 2022, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Ian Whitmore will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Novelty Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Larry Henderson, Greg Smoot, Curtis Franke, Jason Violette, Ashley Roberson and Kim Hall.

Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
